My best advice for this quiet and clean lodge. There are some really nice rooms here that are a very small upgrade price....and try the truffle fries in the lodge restaurant. I think they may be the best I have ever had. And every other meal there has been great. The free coffee in the lobby was a tasty brew.
Great hotel! Stayed here for 4 nights and loved it! Restaurant has first-class foods and most waitresses are nice. Excellent all cotton large towels. Beds are in great shape too. Just the pillows are a bit too soft and would likely be too hot in the summer.
Reasonably priced, great location. Walking distance to the waterfront. Comfortable rooms, just no air conditioning. Would come back.
Pretty dated, pretty drab. Not very quiet. I was woken up at 6am by a construction crew outside my window. Arent there by-laws against that? I know that isnt necessarily the hotels fault, but it was definitely disruptive to myself and other guests. Overall very mediocre hotel. Staff was ok, beds were ok.
Very close to a nice sandy beach with a gorgeous scenic view in a small, friendly town in the beautiful West Kootenays. Had a lovely stay in a clean, comfortable room that was quite affordable. Information and access to all sorts of leisure activities, local food and drink spots, as well as arts and crafts shops,etc. I would definitely return for another stay next time I am in Nakusp, BC.
