Gluten free bread as options and lots of substitutions can be made. Food is really delicious! Friendly atmosphere and good service. Free WiFi. Breakfast served till 11am :)
I have eaten here many times over many years. Even though it has changed hands many times, the food has always been very good, and this morning is no different. It is also opens at 6:00am and that is a big plus for me.
The food is great freshly cooked like the breakfast the right amount to eat no left overs.
I have been here before and rated it very well, but this time it was a very different experience. We went in the morning to get some breakfast sandwiches. I am gluten free. The girl at the cash remembered me and was great like always. She warned us it may be a little bit because they were busy and i was fine with that. She rang in our order and wrote that I have an allergy on the ticket. As I was paying for our food, the cook came out and said because I was gluten free she wouldn't do it because she would have to stop and wipe down the kitchen. I cancelled the purchase and we left. I was embarrassed and as I had been looking forward to this, I was upset. I do not choose for gluten to make me sick and for a restaurant that offers gluten free options this should never of happened. I understand they were busy but it could have been handled a lot better. I will never be back.
It's always nice to stumble upon a cafe with their own baked goods or sweet treats. Like Broadway Deli, which has a few, but not many baked goods like muffins and squares; that is, nothing really over the top or extraordinary. Just a simple treat to have alongside your coffee or for dessert.... -- "Mimi's Cake Tour"
