Love this place! Eat here everytime we come to nakusp!(when its open)
After a long drive I stopped for a burger. What I got was a example of poor customer service.3 older people working and taking their sweet time to take and process orders. I had to stand there and watch the main lady call out a order that was ready and stand there for over 2 minutes and call out the order multiple times until the person finally got around to picking it up. Meanwhile this lady is just standing there waiting for the person to pick up the food when there were 3 groups of people in line ready to order and they were already 2 orders behind. This was not a busy rush time. This was Monday at 2pm.I realized that it would be at least 20 painful minutes before I got a burger, so I walked away and a few other customers in line also bolted with me.If you want to eat at a place where they are on their own time and don't have a clue on how to process orders this is the place for you.
As expected. Great little frozen burgers to satisfy my needs. Not pretending to be anything other than a old school diner but drive in style. Milkshakes were sooo thick that I almost needed a spoon. Fires were crispy and not too thick - just the way I like it.
The food here has always been kind of plain. Its nothing special at all. They dont change the oil in the deep fryer very offten so every thing that comes out of there has a slightly burnt taste. its funny because the place has been around so long its like a land mark. I've only ever eaten there when i've visited town, but i know people who live there who told me no one living in town eats there.
A great spot for ice cream & milkshakes featuring many flavours. We didn't try the burgers. The location is popular & was quite busy. The milkshakes are so thick you need a spoon.
